EVENTure, a Las Vegas based company recently expanded to Middle Tennessee last year and looking to hire a local Operation Assistant, initially part - time but with the opportunity to quickly transition to full time employment. This position has the ability to work from home with weekly in person meetings once trained and will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that play a key role in the day to day logistics and success of our company.
Responsibilities primarily include providing administrative support for principals and staff. Candidates should possess a high level of motivation and initiative as well as strong writing and organizational skills. Additionally, candidates should be highly skilled in the MS Office suite of products with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is REQUIRED. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and can organize their workload and time.
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls
Coordinate appointments by phone, email and meeting requests
Write and distribute email correspondence
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports in Excel and Google Sheets
Maintain client and vendors contact lists in Excel and Google Sheets
Submit and reconcile expense reports
Manage basic social media posts and updates
Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Assist with event related duties and special projects
Requirements:
Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office administrative assistant
Excellent time management skills
Great customer service & communication skills (written and verbal)
Must be reliable, honest and punctual
Ability to complete multiple tasks on short deadlines and prioritize work
Manage high volume work and follow through assigned tasks
Ability to disperse information as deemed appropriate internally and externally
Ability to handle urgent, sensitive/confidential information / problems.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word & Excel) & Google Docs and Sheets
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Minimum High School degree/ College Degree preferred
Reliable Transportation
Typing Speed – Minimum 50 WPM
Assistant and in office clerical: 1 year (Preferred)
Knowledge of hotel and travel accommodation reservations (Preferred)
The position will start as an hourly position and after a 60 day review if Independent Contractor or Employee is a good fit, then position has the opportunity to transition into a salaried full time position.
Interviews will commence June 12th and looking for immediate hire but no later than July 10th
